SRIKARI PUBLIC SCHOOL, since the commencement, has always paid premium to innovation and technology. Our school boasts of a highly equipped and well-stocked biology laboratory. The idea is to enable hands on learning by the students, “Learning by doing” being the motto of our bio lab.
The laboratory provides the students with all sorts of facilities, ranging from specimens to innovative smart boards. The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated by the students. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants. The lab consists of simple and compound microscopes for the students to focus and study slides. The ratio of these microscopes per student is fairly high. We have measuring devices, like analytical balance. Also the laboratory has a variety of apparatus for physiological and ecological experiments, like water bath, oven and Digital PH Meter. We have fire extinguishers in case of an emergency. The laboratory is well supplied with chemicals, and equipped abundantly with thermometers and other apparatus for students to carry out their experiments. Through experiments, students are able to gain firsthand knowledge and appreciate various concepts of biology.

At every stage in life, we are connected to different aspects of chemistry directly or indirectly. It encircles a variety of fields –agriculture, food, medicine, fertilizers, polymers, metals etc. Thus, the knowledge of chemistry is useful in different aspects of human life.
Our chemistry lab aims to:

- Raise the attainment in science by supporting the school curriculum.

Our chemistry lab is well equipped with chemicals and other apparatus to cater to the needs of all the students up to class 12. Students start using the chemistry lab from class 6 onwards. They show great enthusiasm in using chemicals and perform hands on experiments. An additional advantage of our lab is an Lead SchoolTechnology with real and animated versions of different experiments. It is also supported by a virtual lab which is used to conduct experiments on the board and observe the reactions. The virtual lab also provides animations of chemical reactions at the molecular level. The lab has an excellent safety system with fire extinguishers and a shower cum eye washer equipment.
The lab inculcates curiosity and inquisitiveness in students. It plays a very important role in developing a scientific temperament in our students.
There is a well – equipped computer lab in the school. We have competent teachers to train the students in the latest advancements in technology and computing. Beginning from the Pre - Primary school, we focus on keyboarding, word processing,Digital Language Lab and internet skills.
The computer lab of our school is equipped with Multimedia Systems, LCD monitors, Supervised, Fast Internet Connection round the clock, online UPS for system back up and Networking environment. A vast collection of educational softwares, catering to various subjects for the use of teachers and the students. The exposures provided to the learners is maximized by the use of computers with broadband e-connectivity & Wi-Fi which facilitated learning process. Our lab is equipped with 30 computers. Each child has his / her own workstation to practise.
School has established a well equipped Mathematics Laboratory. It is a place where learning becomes fun. The laboratory approach of teaching mathematics provides students with the opportunity to understand and discover the beauty, importance and relevance of mathematics as a discipline. The Math Lab comprises of a variety of mathematical teaching aids in the form of models, games, charts, CDs, books etc. useful for effective learning.
The focus of learning is on developing number sense, spatial sense, recognition of patterns and gradually to attend the problems with algorithm and abstraction. Teachers emphasize on mathematical process which helps the child to imbibe concepts using concrete materials, problem solving with real-life situations, reasoning, reflecting and connecting, selecting appropriate computational tool, strategies and use of mathematical vocabulary.
A state-of-the-art Math Lab equips the 21st century learners with activity based learning and creates a challenging atmosphere for students to hone their mathematical skills. A variety of modern and colourful apparatus help in making teaching and learning of the subject interactive, fun filled and joyful. Learning of mathematical concepts through concrete materials, hands-on-experiences and real life situations help to enhance analytical and critical thinking of the learners.

Our state-of-the-art Physics laboratory is equipped with modern equipments to help the students learn the concepts of Physics with experiments. It is designed to give practice of taking measurements, analyzing data and drawing inferences while the students experiment.
The lab is quite spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it. Each of the laboratories can accommodate 40 students conducting experiments in groups of two depending on the experiment at hand.
Our students get a virtual experience of experiments on the Lead School Technology and the crocodile physics which they thoroughly enjoy. Although the front of the room is fitted with blackboards and Lead School Technology and a large demonstration table, the students spend most of their time at their lab tables performing their own experiments. There’s a computer in the lab for the students to reach for data collection and analysis. There is ample space in the middle of the room for large scale experiments. The lab is very well equipped with instruments, like- meter bridges, battery eliminators, potentiometers, Hooke’s apparatus, etc. One can also observe the resonance condition that so often proves attractive and interactive. The pin-boards on each wall are decorated with very suitable charts, maps, illustrations and quotes and at the same time various models, made by the students, are exhibited all around the lab. One just cannot resist loving both the lab and the subject as the aura of Physics seems to besiege the invader.
What makes its significance even stronger is the presence of the students and the teacher.
Robotics is an excellent multi‐disciplinary field to impart practical, activity‐based, hands‐on knowledge aimed to ignite passion in young students towards Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CS‐STEM) using ICT. Robotics spans mathematics, physics, electronics, mechanics and computer programming. The process of designing and constructing projects develop team working, creativity, concentration, creative problem solving and programming skills in students in a logical and structured manner.
Engage students in project and challenges are based on the "Learning by Doing" methodology and encourage them to develop problem solving, decision making and scientific inquiry skills and comprehend abstract concepts in a play way method. It allows them to investigate, plan, test and implement their ideas thus focusing on application of the CS‐STEM concepts and themes.
